Downtown Grapevine:

Monday-Friday: 10:30am-5pm

Saturday: 10am-6pm

Monday-Thursday: 11am-8pm

Why have a party at Let's Pretend?

Kids grow up so fast!  Don't miss out on making sure you milestone and celebrate your daughters precious childhood years.  We make sure you can capture those precious memories by creating a fairytale environment where your princess can be sure to love every moment while you can feel good about enabling the experience for her.

How do I prepare for a party?

We strive to make our parties easy and stress free for you parents!  Our royal staff will take care of every single aspect of the party, all you have to do is show up!

What should my child and guest wear to the party?

We have a plethora of beautiful princess dresses for your little princess to dress up in!  They are also more than welcome to wear a princess dress of their own to the tea party.

When should I arrive for the party?

Plan on arriving just 5-10 minutes early to your party! Our Let's Pretend staff will take care of setting up any decorations or goodie bags you may have for your princess's party!

How far in advance should I make my party?

Our parties book up fast!  We recommend booking your princess's special day around a month to 2 months in advance to ensure the day and time requested is not already booked!

How long does a party last?

Our magical parties last an hour and a half with the exception of our horse drawn carriage Enchanted Tea Party which lasts 2 hours.

Can I add an extra 30 minutes during my party or the day of the party?  

In most cases we have a party right after yours, so we would not be able to accommodate an additional 30 minutes.  If you would like to request additional time, we encourage you to book the last party time slot for the day and call us to request the additional time. 

What happens if I cancel my party or my children get sick?

We require parties to put down a $100 non refundable deposit to book your party day, this deposit must be paid again if the party has to be cancelled and rescheduled for another date.  This is because we purchase food and arrange staffing for each party.  In rare occasions if rescheduling is needed we can accommodate a change with at least 1 weeks advance notice.  The best thing to do is communicate closely with our mangers. 

What happens if guests arrive late?

We typically start the parties right on time but per the parents request can wait a few extra minutes for guest to arrive.  If a guest arrives late we will get them transformed into a magical princess so they can be ready to join the tea party with the rest of the guests!

What days of the week are parties available?

Birthday parties can be hosted any day of the week but typically are held Saturdays and Sundays.  To ensure availability for birthday party bookings, tea parties unfortunately cannot be held on the weekends unless its one week prior to the requested date and we have time slots available.  

Can we see the party room before booking?

Of course! You can check out the beautiful photos on our website and stop in anytime during our store hours to check out the space and ask our wonderful staff any questions you may have, we are always here to help!

Can I bring outside food and drink?

Unfortunately we cannot allow outside food or drinks into our party space with the exception of a birthday cake.  In that case, a food liability waiver will be required to sign.

Can I bring alcohol?

We do not allow any type of alcoholic beverages on our premises.

Do you have food Add Ons and what is the cutoff to get them in?

Yes, we do offer add ons for your guests, here is the link of what we offer. The cutoff for ordering add ons are the Thursday before your party.

Can we bring our own princess?  

We have special trained princesses for our party venue, therefore don't allow outside princess, unless special approval is requested.

What is the max amount of guests allowed?

The max amount of guests allowed is 20 royal children, not including parents.  We do have limited available sitting room for parents as well. 

What ages is the party best for?

We cater to all ages! The perfect age range for our tea parties is 3-8 years old!

Do we supply party gifts for the parties?

At all of our parties the princesses will leave with their very own tiara, magical wand and memories for a lifetime!  The princes attending will also leave with a sword!  We do have a goodie bag add on with even more special goodies!

Do parents stay for the party?

Parents are more than welcome to stay for the party! We love seeing all of your wonderful pictures and getting to see you and your child share this magical experience together.  If you would not like to stay for the party, go enjoy a glass of wine and a cheese board at one of the amazing wineries walking distance from our storefront in Historic Downtown Grapevine!  For both birthday parties and tea parties, we need to know the approximate amount planning on attending for occupancy restrictions.

Is there a maximum amount of participants at a Tea Party?

The maximum amount of children per tea party is 4 participants.  Parties over 4 participants are recommended to reserve a birthday party.  We encourage adults to attend a special tea party experience, however we can accommodate a large amount of people due to occupancy limitations.

Do Tea Parties require a reservation?

Yes, Tea Party Reservations are required and are available Monday-Friday.  Princesses celebrate birthday parties on Saturday and Sundays.  Limited reservations may be available on the weekends, please call for availability or book here now.

Do we keep credit cards on file?

No, if you book your party online we don't keep your credit card on file and for your credit card security don't keep cards on file for any transactions.
